The King of Malaysian comedy Douglas Lim is a multi-hyphenate entertainer who has dabbled in acting for television, theater and film, stand-up, radio and humorous content creation. He burst on the scene in the iconic sitcom Kopitiam which earned him a nomination at the Asian Television Awards for Best Actor in a Comedy. His stand-up comedy shows include sold out performances at Istana Budaya, KL Convention Center, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and even The Public Theater in New York, landing him on the list of Asia’s Top 10 Comedians. In 2019, Douglas Lim headlined MACC- The Goodbye Tour which performed to over 10000 people across 11 cities.
